The School Day

Sacred Heart is open for 32.5 hours per week for a total of 39 weeks per year.

Registration is at 08:45 and and 13:00 and the school closes at 15:15 each day. School gates open at 08:30 (parents are requested to remain with and supervise their child until 08:40) and again at 15:10. We have a 15 minute morning break and an hour lunchbreak each day.

Each class follows their specific timetable each day which covers National Curriculum topics and also includes swimming, music lessons (KS2)  and outside PE. Break and lunchtimes are spent closely supervised on our playgrounds or school field, weather permitting.
