Class Dojo

Class Dojo is a downloadable app which we use at Sacred Heart to help keep our school connected with families. Messages make it easy to communicate within our school community and are automatically translated into more than 190+ languages.

You will often find key reminders of upcoming events on Class Dojo –  events are added to the calendar everyone can be kept in the loop with automatic reminders.

ClassDojo is used to demonstrate our learning and share the results and provides opportunities for pupils to complete lessons.

Wraparound Care

We offer a wraparound care service before school from 07:45-08:45 and after school from 15:15-17:15 Monday to Thursday. On Fridays there is no afternoon wraparound care. Children are provided with a snack but should bring their own water bottle.

Wraparound care staff are Miss J Cooper, Ms R Neves, Mrs D Hope.

At the road gate please press the Wraparound buzzer and your child will be collected in the morning or brought to you in the evening.

Morning £5 per session

Afternoon £8 per session

Full time option £52.00 per week

School Council

We have a school council compromising of pupils elected by their peers. The candidates canvas for support and present their agendas at assembly before being appointed. Regular school council meetings are held to raise and decide on issues pertinent to the pupils in discussion with staff.

Music

We provide Years 4, 5 & 6 the opportunity for weekly music lessons.  These are provided with an external provider.at a cost.

Swimming

Year 4 and 5 have the opportunity to go for a block of swimming lessons on Wednesdays during the Lent and Pentecost terms at Loughborough Leisure Centre. There is a charge for these lessons.
